Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Team Penske Miller Lite Ford) passed Kyle Busch (No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing M&M's Toyota) in a fierce battle for the lead for the last time on Lap 458 of 500 and held on to capture his first victory at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday in the STP 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race. It was Keselowski’s first victory at NASCAR's oldest short track and it was the first time Ford has won at Martinsville since 2002. Audi factory driver Lucas di Grassi (No. 11 ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport)
won the fourth race of the 2017 Formula E season at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City on Saturday. Jean-Éric Vergne (No. 25 Techeetah) was second and Sam Bird (No. 2 Virgin Racing) finished third. di Grassi started 15th on the grid, got caught up in an early incident which forced him to pit after only two laps during the first safety car stage to change the rear wing, dropping him to last place. The ABT Schaefffler Audi Sport team gambled on an early pit stop on the 18th of 45 laps during the second safety car stage, which forced di Grassi to save energy the rest of the race distance. di Grassi had an advantage of 1.966 seconds at the end of the race with only two percent energy remaining in his battery. Next up for Formula E is Monaco on May 13th.

Mattias Ekström (No. 1 EKS Audi S1 RX Quattro) won the
2017 FIA World Rallycross Championship season opener at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Timo Scheider (No. 44 MJP Racing Team Austria Ford Fiesta ST) was second and Andreas Bakkerud (No. 13 Hoonigan Racing Division Ford Focus RSRX) finished third. Round 2 of the World Rallycross Championship will be in Montalegre, Portugal, on April 21–23.

Three weeks after winning one of the longest races in major league sports car racing in the U.S. - Sebring - for the eleventh time, Corvette Racing will attempt to score a sixth victory in the shortest event on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship schedule at Long Beach, California. The titanic GTLM battle between BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford and Porsche will continue at the Bubba Burger Sports Car Grand Prix of Long Beach, a 100-minute street fight that will air live on FOX on Saturday, April 8th, starting at 1 p.m. PT. Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen will be in the No. 3 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Corvette C7.R, and Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner will wheel the No. 4 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Corvette. The four Corvette Racing drivers have combined to win seven times on the 11-turn, 1.968-mile street circuit that has played host to the Grand Prix of Long Beach event weekend for 42 years.
