(Audi)
The 2017 Audi Q7 with 2.0T 4-cylinder engine is faster, lighter and more efficient than the previous generation 2015 Q7 with the 3.0T V6, according to Audi.
With 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, standard seating for up to seven passengers and quattro® all-wheel drive, the Q7 with 2.0T engine reaches 60 mph a half-second faster than the previous generation 2015 Q7 3.0T V6 model. And the 2.0T Q7 is nearly 500 pounds lighter and thus 22 percent more fuel efficient, with an EPA-estimated 22 mpg city/highway combined. That's all nice and everything but you're going to pay through the nose for the "privilege" of owning one. The Premium 2.0-liter Q7 model stickers for $49,000, while the Premium Plus model will cost you $53,000. It costs a lot to be hip these days, especially if it's a crossover with four rings on it.

No free hunting trips to Wales. No bought-and-paid-for content "acceptable" to the auto manufacturers. No PR puff pieces lauding a convicted hack and his mediocre automotive career. No wishy-washy reviews. Just the bare-knuckled, unvarnished, high-octane truth about anything and everything to do with the car business. From the cars themselves, to the companies and the people who design, build and market them, Autoextremist.com is everything you wanted to read about the business of cars. We say the things that the others don't have the balls to say, and we do it with a relentless ferocity and an uncanny accuracy that still resonate throughout the industry.
