Christian Lundgaard won the Sonsio Grand Prix on Saturday on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, his first NTT INDYCAR SERIES victory in nearly three years. Lundgaard drove his No. 7 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet to his second career victory by 4.6713 seconds over the No. 12 Team Penske Verizon Chevrolet of David Malukas. Lundgaard’s first career win came at the Honda Indy Toronto on July 16, 2023, while driving for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. “Very happy,” Lundgaard said. “I really didn’t expect this today. I hoped for it. This was a long wait for this win, especially around this place. You know how fast I’ve always been around here, and it’s just been time after time after time disappointments. Graham Rahal was the final podium finisher on Saturday, third in the No. 15 RLL Fifth Third Bank Honda to tie his season-best result.

All the blood, sweat and tears. The injury woes of 2025. The not knowing if he’d ever return to the top step again. Now though, he's done exactly that. Jorge Martin (No. 89 Aprilia Racing), for the first time since the 2024 Indonesian Grand Prix, emerged victorious on Sunday in Le Mans with a ridiculously impressive ride that saw him reel in and overtake teammate Marco Bezzecchi (No. 72 Aprilia Racing) in the closing stages. It was a day to remember for Aprilia because not only did they lock out the top two spots on the podium thanks to the top two in the championship, but Ai Ogura (No. 79 Trackhouse MotoGP Team Aprilia) produced some more late Grand Prix magic to force his way onto the MotoGP podium for the first time.
